Team ScooTalks has always been updating you about cultural events at Sanskar School Jaipur, but this time we have a sports news from the school. The school, under the experienced guidance of Mrs. Rama Datt, the Principal, played host to the 8th Kanni Thahryamal Trophy, All India Level Inter School T-20 Cricket Tournament that began on 18th November 2015.
Inauguration ceremony was graced by eminent guests, Major Y. N. Datt and Col. Kartik Datt. The programme commenced with a motivational song, orchestra display and a formal welcome of the guests and participating teams. Mrs. Rama Datt encouraged the players and wished them luck for the matches ahead.
Amid a lot of cheer and hooting, began the inaugural match between Warren Academy School, Jaipur and Saint Anselm’s Pink City School, Jaipur. Teams of both the schools played quite well, but since only one can be the winner so, St. Anselm’s Pink City School succeeded in being the winner by defeating the opponent.
For the next match to be held on 19th November, Maheshwari Public School and Indo Bharat International School Jaipur will pitch against each other. As many as 31 CBSE schools from Jaipur, Ajmer and parts of Haryana will participate to add on to this grand affair!
