Jaipur’s very own St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, has proved its mettle by winning gold, silver and bronze medals in the Wushu National Championship. The event, organized by CBSE in Bilaspur (H.P.) had in presence 250 schools and 1770 students as participants.
The students of the school succeeded in winning in both under-14 and under-19 categories. Pawan Kumar and Divya Akad claimed silver medals in the under-14 category while Kunal Verma and Pooja Rajawat won bronze medals.
What adds all the more to the pride is the fact that in 2015, St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar has won the maximum numbers of medals in Wushu Championship.
Congratulating the students on their achievements, principal of the school, Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Singh encouraged them to achieve more and more success in the future.
It couldn't get better, they think, each year. However, they surpass themselves each year as they reach a new level of success with their annual art exhibition. This is none other than the artists from St Edmund's Jawahar Nagar.
