St Xavier’s School, Yes! We are talking about it again. The school has once again proved itself, this time in Football.
The school has won the Father Batson Football Cup, Xavier’s initiative to give a platform to the aspiring and enthusiastic football players.
Father Batson Football Cup, which was successfully inaugurated on 31st August, is an initiative by alumni of the school to groom and nurture young talent and further provide them with a stage to showcase their skills.

4th September, the day of grand finals was a high-energy day that the sports-freaks of the city witnessed. The two final teams, Xavier’s and SMS played with full passion and zeal. No less was the match than any Soccer World Cup, giving goosebumps with every passing move.
The wonderful, yet unforgettable match ended with a score of 1-1 between the teams. It was through a penalty shootout that Xavier’s was declared the winner wherein the winners took the lead by 4-3.

The Chief Guest, IPS Ajit Singh and the Guest of Honor Mr. Magan Singh Rajvi and Mrs. Asha Golcha definitely added some extra shine to the event with their admirable presence.
The competition was absolutely a great success for Xavier’s.
