In a unique initiative, K2 children of the Terna Orchids – The International School recently visited a beauty salon to learn about hygiene. For most, it was their first time at a salon without their parents, though under the supervision of their teachers.

An extension of their ongoing workshop on professions, the visit gave the children an opportunity to meet salon professionals. Not only did they experience how salons work, but also learnt the benefits of hygiene from professionals, who taught them that hygiene was not just about taking a shower or washing their hands, but also about keeping nails, hair and combs clean.

In return, the little children presented a beautiful thank you card to the salon staff.
